Responsible for the overall editorial vision for LAPTOP Magazine & Laptopmag.com, Mark Spoonauer is widely regarded as an expert in mobile and wireless technology. He has been Editor in Chief of LAPTOP since 2003 and has been technology journalist for more than a decade. Mark has spoken at several key mobile tech industry events, including CES and CTIA Wireless, and makes regular media appearances. Prior to joining LAPTOP, Mark was the reviews editor of Mobile Computing & Communications. His work has also appeared in Inc., Wired, and Popular Science, amongst other publications. Mark graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in English.
Avram Piltch Laptop
Avram Piltch, Online Editorial Director
The official Geeks Geek, as his semi-monthly opinion column is titled, Avram Piltch guides the editorial and production of Laptopmag.com, and has since 2007. Avram programmed several of LAPTOP's real-world benchmarks, including the LAPTOP Battery Test and LAPTOP File Transfer Test. He has a Master of Arts degree in English from New York University, worked as an adjunct professor, and spent 9 years in senior editorial positions at About.com before joining the LAPTOP family.
Anna Attkisson Laptop
Anna Attkisson, Managing Editor
When she's not cracking the deadline whip, Anna Attkisson can be found writing about tech accessories and social networking. Anna joined the LAPTOP Staff in 2007, after having worked as a Senior Associate Editor at Time Inc. Content Solutions creating publications for Ford, American Express, Navy Federal Credit Union, National Parks Foundation, and the Humane Society, among others. She got her start as an intern in the American Society of Magazine Editors program while attending the University of Kansas, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Journalism.
Michael A. Prospero Laptop

Michael A. Prospero has overseen the reviews section of LAPTOP magazine, as well as all of the reviews on Laptopmag.com since 2007. After receiving his Master of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University in 2003, Mike worked a staff writer at Fast Company magazine, where he covered technology. Prior to that, he worked at The Times of Trenton, George magazine, and AlleyCat News, where he wrote about business and technology.
Konrad Krawczyk Laptop
Konrad Krawczyk, Assistant Reviews Editor
When he's not mesmerized by lava lamps or wondering why he looks like a member of Dethklok, Konrad tests gadgets and writes reviews, news stories, how-tos and more for LAPTOP. Prior to joining the staff, he wrote for Computer Shopper, Major League Baseball and numerous other publications. He holds double B.A.s in Political Science and Media Studies from CUNY Queens College. In his spare time he likes to walk around in a chicken suit, just to see other people's reactions.
Molly Klinefelter Laptop
Molly Klinefelter, Assistant Editor
After graduating from the University of Maryland, Molly Klinefelter joined the team at LAPTOP, where she writes about accessories, apps and much more. In college she helped launch the University's branch of Her Campus, while also working the copy desk at the Diamondback student newspaper. An avid tech journalist, she is a copy editor and reporter who keeps an eagle eye on the details.
Dan Howley Laptop
Dan Howley, Senior Staff Writer
A newspaper man at heart, Dan Howley was employed as a senior staff writer with Greater Media Newspapers, a New Jersey-based publisher of 10 weekly newspapers before joining LAPTOP, where he enjoys testing out the latest laptops, smartphones, tablets and high-tech cars. He also served as a news editor with ALM Media's Law Technology News, and he holds a B.A. in English from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Prior to joining LAPTOP's team as a Staff Writer this year, Sherri Smith spent four years working as a tech writer and editor for a variety of publications including Popgadget, BET.com, Fast Company. She also worked as the managing editor for Black Web 2.0, where she got to stretch her social networking muscles. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, holding a B.A. in English.

Daniel Berg is a tech enthusiast and blogger who has been with LAPTOP since May 2012. He enjoys exploring the impact of technology on society as well as following innovative tech startups. On weekends, you can find him writing code and hacking away at his computer. Daniel studied English and creative writing at Hofstra University.

Previously a Senior Technology Reporter at The International Business Times, Lisa Eadicicco is passionate about covering all manner of mobile tech from Android tablets to storage drives. She got her start as local news desk reporter for The New York Daily News before becoming a featured guest on the Nerds Without Pants Podcast for PixlBit. She received her Bachelors degree in Journalism from the State University of New York at Purchase.

Kenneth Butler started at LAPTOP Magazine as the freelance fact checker in 2007 after a part-time job at WineSpectator.com and internships with Vibe Magazine and TimeOut New York. Prior to all that, Kenneth studied journalism at New York University.

An early-adopting futurist and internet meme enthusiast, Ana is happy to absorb and process the flood of tech articles that cross her desk as she produces for Laptopmag.com. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she spent two years in the startup jungle of San Francisco as Tested.com's Web video producer. Ana has worked as a writer for Tubefilter.com and founded her own "geek culture" blog which was awarded AMC.com's Site of the Week. When not assembling LAPTOP's news and reviews, she can be found expanding her web development skillset and trying out new iOS apps
